A Rail Supervisor is required to join our market leading client within the rail sector.

The successful candidate will ideally be located in the North East and be flexible with travelling to various site locations. You will responsible to the Area Managers and responsible for 30 staff, of which 7 will be team leaders, ensuring all sites are working to complete productivity and efficiency.

It will be your responsibility to monitor and control key equipment, reporting performance of outstations, machinery and plant equipment. An understanding of CCMS system is essential and understanding the development and implementation of KPI`s is desirable.

As Rail Supervisor you will have working knowledge of control and implementation of quality procedures, including risk assessment, health, safety and welfare. You will have excellent engineering and rail knowledge, ideally from a freight background however, passenger train will be considered.

Ideally you will have an IOSH qualification and therefore be able to enforce Health & Safety requirements and ensure all sites adhere to legislative requirements.

Candidates will have a high level of communication skills, be of strong character and adept and practised at multi-tasking and be able to prioritise effectively.

You will have proven experience of preparation, production and modification of design schemes and therefore able to work from detailed drawings.
